A pedestrian hospitalised, after struck by a motorcycle

Shortly after 7:00 pm on Wednesday, 29th July, police received several reports of an injury road traffic collision, just west of the Terceira’s service station on the North Shore road in Devonshire.
According to a police statement, upon arrival, officers found that a pedestrian had been struck by a motorcycle.

The male pedestrian sustained a serious leg injury, was attended to at hospital and discharged.

The male motorcycle rider who sustained facial injuries, was arrested and bailed to appear in court, said the statement

North Shore Road was closed off between Loyal Hill and Store Hill for approximately ninety minutes, as the scene was processed by officers from the Forensics Unit and Traffic Collision Investigators.
