Department of Public Prosecutions and BPS conducted a joint training seminar for multiple agencies
Yesterday, the Department of Public Prosecutions along with the Bermuda Police Service conducted a joint training seminar for multiple agencies including Fisheries Department, Animal Protection Department, Parks Department, Waste Management and Planning Department.
We caught up with them during a practical exercise, which the scenario involved a man riding an unlicensed motorcycle in possession of an unlicensed dog, entered Daniels Head Beach Park to purchase Parrot Fish. He also threw litter on the ground before losing control of his dog, which attacked an innocent bystander in the park.
The participants were then asked to interview the role players before going back inside to debrief the scenario and discuss the list of offences committed.
