New Company Registry System

New Company Registry System

The Registrar of Companies is launching the first phase of its new online company registry system on June 7, 2021. This new online registry will allow the public to view all corporate registers maintained by the Registrar of Companies. Statutory filings and applications can also be made online.
The Registrar of Companies is offering a series of webinars to provide training on how to use the new registry system. The first live webinar will be offered on May 19, 2021, with subsequent webinars being offered weekly as listed below. These webinars will be open to anyone interested in learning how to use our new system.

Migration of data to our new system will take place from May 27, 2021, until June 4, 2021. During this time, the Registrar of Companies will not be able to enter any further data, and no applications will be accepted. Also, Economic Substance Declarations that have been started must be finished and submitted by June 3. Any Unfinished declarations that have not been submitted by this date will be deleted, and you will have to restart.

If you are already familiar with setting up an organisation on this new system, we encourage you to take this time to set up your organisations and staff user accounts at www.registrarofcompanies.gov.bm. Existing accounts on the Economic Substance portal will be carried over to the new system.

Please send an email to ggouterbridge@gov.bm to receive the webinar registration links.
