No new positive COVID cases in Bermuda; total cases remain at 141

There were 129 test results received by the Ministry of Health on 9 June; and none were positive for COVID-19.
Bermuda continues to have 141 total confirmed positive cases.

7 are recovering at home, 2 persons are hospitalized; none are in critical care.

A total of 123 have now recovered, and the total deceased remains 9.

The average age of all confirmed positive cases is 61 & the median age is 65.

The age range of all confirmed cases is 18-101 years.

The age range of persons hospitalised ranges between 66 and 86 years.

The average age of those hospitalised is 76, and the median age is 76.

57% of COVID19 cases have been Black; 41% White; 2% other or unknown.

Of the 141 COVID19 cases confirmed to date, 60 are male & 81 are female.

A review of our testing numbers show that to date, out of the 8298 tests results received, 141 were positive, 8157 were negative.

The source of all local cases is as follows:

- 41 are Imported
- 84 are Local transmission, with known contact
- 11 are Local transmission with an unknown contact, and
- 5 are under investigation

Bermuda’s country status remains “Local Transmission – Cluster of Cases”.
