The Bermuda Shrine Club donates $5,000 to The Family Centre

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Martin Weekes in his voluntary role as a Shiner, presents donation to The Family Centre.
“The Bermuda Shrine Club, a club of members of Shriners International, best known for their distinctive red Fezzes and the Shiners Children's organisation of Hospitals across North America providing free treatment for Childhood ailments and burn victims, this week presented a cheque to The Family Centre for $5,000.

The Bermuda Shrine Club President, Martin Weekes said "the Bermuda Shrine Club has been meeting in Bermuda since 1983, and is a Registered Bermuda Charity, the club has members from across Bermuda. This year, in pursuit of our Charitable aims and recognising the need caused by the COVID19 pandemic, the Club voted to provide a charitable donation of $5000 to The Family Centre and we presented the cheque to Executive Director Martha Dismont at the Family Centre location on King Street City of Hamilton at 12 on Monday 1st June 2020"
