US: Two dead and 20 injured in Miami shooting

Two people died and at least 20 were injured on Sunday when three men fired into the crowd gathered in front of a concert hall in Miami, in the southeastern United States, local police said.
The shooting occurred at dawn in a billiard hall located in a commercial park near Miami Gardens, northwest of the center of the coastal city.
The venue was holding an event, and several organizers were outside the venue when an SUV approached the scene, police said in a statement.
"Three individuals got out of the vehicle and began firing indiscriminately at the crowd," he added.
Those three people got back in the car and fled.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency services found two deceased, according to the statement.
At least 20 wounded ended up in hospital, with at least one of them in critical condition.
In a tweet, the director of the Miami-Dade County Police Department, Alfredo "Freddy" Ramírez III, called the act "cowardly."
"They are cold-blooded killers who fired indiscriminately at a crowd and we will seek justice," he said.
Police were seeking the help of the community to identify and arrest the shooters.
Florida remains marked by the 2016 shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, in which a gunman killed 49 people and injured at least 68 others.
The United States has a long and painful history of deadly gun violence, with a constant number of daily shootings, as well as mass killings that have targeted schools, workplaces and shopping centers.
On Wednesday, a transit worker shot and killed nine people at a California railroad station before pointing his gun as police arrived.
In a search carried out this week at the shooter's house - which was set on fire shortly before the attack - 12 weapons, some 22,000 ammunition and suspected Molotov cocktails were found.

In recent months there have been shootings at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis, an office building in California, a grocery store in Colorado and at several spas in Atlanta.
